Microsoft's New AR Glasses Could Revolutionize Remote Work
Microsoft is venturing into augmented reality with a patent application for unique AR glasses designed to revolutionize remote work. The glasses feature a modular design, with a hot-swappable battery that can be inserted into the temple or a detachable earpiece. This innovation addresses a major challenge faced by AR glasses - battery life - allowing users to replace the battery on the go. This means remote workers can work uninterrupted during long hours or while traveling. The modular design also allows wearing the glasses without the battery for comfort. Microsoft is exploring connections to external devices, potentially enhancing computing power and adding new functions. These AR glasses could redefine virtual work, providing a versatile tool for productivity, and may become a must-have for modern remote workers. Microsoft's patent application demonstrates their commitment to advancing technology for remote work empowerment. Read full article.

Community member Sergio Sala is filming city guides for digital nomads on YouTube!
Hi y’all, I’m Sergio. Over 10 years as a digital nomad, I have always had the passion to share the lifestyle and the communities behind each city that I’ve visited. So for the last year’s I’ve been recording complete in-depth city guides around the world tailored specifically for digital nomads.
Instead of the typical travel video, I usually stay a month (or more) in each city and I explore all the aspects that a digital nomad would search for, including the topics of coworking, coffee shops, wifi speed, housing, transportation, nightlife, nomad meetups, activities and more.
These city guides are like small documentaries, from 25 to 50 mins, where I show as much as possible what’s to really live there as a digital nomad. I even add a monthly cost of living to help you decide if you really want to visit that place.
I have covered famous cities like Chiang Mai, Thailand, Lisbon, Portugal, Mexico City and smaller cities like Bansko, Bulgaria, Bariloche, Argentina. And there’s more city videos to come such as Canggu - Bali & Bangkok, Thailand.
‘Digital Nomads’ Urged to Head for North Macedonia’s Skopje
North Macedonia's capital, Skopje, has claimed the top spot in Time Out's ranking of the best European cities for remote workers, thanks to its affordability. The Norton Finance company, which compiled the list by examining costs like rent, utilities, transport, food, gym, and internet, found that Skopje stood out for its exceptional value. The city's efficient public transport system, offering a monthly pass eight times cheaper than London's equivalent, contributed to its ranking. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, secured the second position, offering one-bedroom flats in the city center at an affordable €275 per month. Moldova's capital, Chisinau, ranked third due to its low-cost living, with beer prices a fraction of those in London. Other Balkan cities also made the top six, with Sofia, Bucharest, and Belgrade securing fourth, fifth, and sixth places, respectively. Meanwhile, Copenhagen and Dublin were rated as less attractive for digital nomads due to their high rents. The rise of remote work and digital nomads, accelerated by the pandemic, is reshaping the workforce landscape, with Forbes projecting that 22% of the US workforce will be remote workers by 2025. Many countries have introduced digital nomad visa programs to attract remote workers from abroad. Read full article.
3 Ways to Implement AI Into Your Online Business
AI is everywhere these days! But how does it apply to online business owners and remote work?
Well we will share with your the 5 ways you can immediately start using AI to your benefit along with our recommended killer prompt.
But first let’s break down the two main platforms to use.
Platform 1: ChatGPT
You’ve probably heard of this one, mainly because of it having “100 million users” meaning it’s mainstream! ChatGPT is like a very smart computer program that can have conversations with people. It can answer questions, give advice, and have discussions on a wide range of topics. It works by understanding the words and sentences you type and then generating responses that make sense based on the information it has been trained on. Think of it as a virtual conversation partner that can chat with you and help you find information or have a chat about various topics.
Platform 2: Midjourney
This one is a personal favorite and how we generate all of our visual content for this newsletter! Midjourney basically analyzes e the text you provide and then produce an image that matches the description in the text.
Ok so now that you know the two main AI platforms, let’s dive in.
Crafting Professional Email Responses with ChatGPT
So you’re tired of answering dozens of emails every day. What if I told you with one simple prompt you can get a perfect response. Where it says “insert email you received” copy, paste the email you got.
Generate a respectful yet authoritative response to the following email I just received (insert email you received)
Creating Premium Banners for Linkedin with Midjourney
So you want a professional Linkedin banner for your personal or business page? Here’s one we recommend that will have you looking brand new. Remember where it says “insert your brand values here” would be what you stand for. For me it’s (freedom, travel, wealth, sovereignty)
